A little background information...

Hi, I am Julius and I am a web developer. I studied Creative Computing at Queen Mary University of London and graduated in the year 2022. I started coding since year 9, and the first programming language I learned was Python. From a young age, I wanted to become a games developer and create my own games, hence why I got into coding. As hobbies, I love to play music, code, work out and cook.

President of QMUL Filipino Society

QMSU Filipino Society

  • Lead of the QM Filipino Society student union group.
  • Ensures the society runs smoothly and complies to the Students Union Articles of Association, by-laws and policies and procedures.
  • Helped organise and host a collaborative valentines ball event with KCL, KUL, BUL, SGUL and Herts Filipino societies acommodating 330 guests. Awarded as best Filipino society event of the year by FiliFest.
  • point of contact between SU group and SU staff.

1. Hulu clone

Hulu clone built using react native. API from tmbd to fetch movie info.

2. Instagram clone

Working Instagram clone with log-in and log-out authentication using google. Just like Instagram, you can create posts, like and comment in other posts. Firebase is used to store posts, comments, like counts and accounts. React.js and tailwind.css is used to create this amazing UI.

3. Calculator

Functional calculator built using the basics of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

4. Rock paper scissors game

A functional rock paper scissors game built using JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

5. Airbnb clone

Re-created the UI, as well as responsiveness, for the Airbnb web application using react and tailwind.css. Created own API to generate fake airbnb data and demonstrate SSR skills.
